Returns the tangent of a number given in radians.

Parameters

• x: an angle in radians.

Return value

The tangent of x, as a float.

Examples

print(math.tan(0))              --> 0.0
print(math.tan(math.pi / 4))    --> 0.9999999999999999  (float rounding)
